Romans 8:28- "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose"

My Hope Is In Him!

“And the Scriptures were written to teach and encourage us by giving us hope.” Romans 15:4

Imagine yourself in a dark tunnel and you are trying to find your way out. There is a sense of worry because there is nothing there to guide you. You’re walking but there is no sense of direction. Suddenly, a dim light appears in your view. You now have 2 choices: you can continue to walk and figure things out on your own or you can walk towards the light hoping that this will lead you to freedom.

Life can be that dark tunnel that you are walking through each day. That dark tunnel can be sickness, broken relationships, pain, sorrow, confusion, frustration or anything else that causes you to have doubts in life. However, there is a light that we have access to that will guide us to where we desire to be. The Bible is God’s Word that gives us the tools to lead us to the path of freedom. Whenever God speaks to us, we ought to hold onto His Words with the hope that He will deliver us, heal us, provide for us, protect us, and set us free. Our hope in Him is not instantaneous, but it is about the journey. Just like it will take some steps to navigate through a dark tunnel and into freedom, it will take steps for God to guide us out of the dark tunnels of life. It is our hope and faith that He will never leave us, nor forsake us, that keeps us going. It is our hope belief that He is with us in the valley of the shadow of death that keeps us going. Take a hold of God’s Word and allow it to fill our hope tanks to keep on going.

Prayer: God, you know that life is tough at times for me. It becomes difficult to navigate through the dark tunnels in my life. Lord, I need Your Word to g show me the way. My hope is in Your guidance knowing that if you lead me, I will not stray. Amen
